Do you have cracked walls or sheetrock? Doors that won’t close? Windows that won’t open?

Any of these can be signs of foundation problems. Foundation settlement can lead to major structural problems within your home. Luckily there are ways to repair a concrete foundation without having to tear it out and start from scratch.

Sixty percent of all homes built on expansive soils suffer from foundation distress.

The problem occurs when only part of the foundation heaves or settles, causing cracks and other damage. This differential movement is largely caused by differences in soil moisture and/or compressing organic soils. Loss or gain of soil moisture can cause serious shrinkage or swelling. Over time as organic soils decompose foundations will generally settle with the soils.
